FDR DANCE committed to the welfare of all

Dear artists,

The situation around the coronavirus has changed and the risk of it spreading in Mexico is already a reality.

Therefore, we are sending this updated statement so that you individually anticipate your actions in favor of health.

At FDR Dance we join the relevant prevention actions and closely follow the information and official progress on the subject, the recommendations of both the Ministry of Health in Mexico and the WHO - World Health Organization, regarding cancellation of massive events. Our activity has a maximum influx of 25 people, so it is not considered risky.

However, our activity causes geographic movement, that is, most of our artists belong to different cities, which causes traffic from different parts of the republic, which puts your health at risk if you travel by land (buses) or airway (planes). In addition, the spaces in which the activities will take place have their established measures and we must collaborate and understand the decisions they made regarding this contingency.

BLIND DATE is an entrepreneurial project in which a projection was reserved for the general public at the Cineteca Alameda at the end of the course, various private and public spaces for the recording of short films, specific rental of lighting, video and audio equipment to support the filming of their work, advertising in electronic and printed media, development of a documentary by professionals, classrooms for training and teaching of participating artists.

Therefore BLIND DATE will be tentatively postponed in the next holiday period 2020, we will analyze possible dates depending on the evolution in the measures and development of the pandemic in Mexico.

Therefore Audition | Workshop 2020 will be scheduled until further notice tentatively in the next vacation period 2020, we will analyze possible dates depending on the evolution of the measures and development of the pandemic in Mexico.

If once the dates have been announced, the registered participants cannot attend, we will personally deal with their case, waiting for the moment and please understand and patience with this contingency of which we are all part.

The most important thing is to avoid panic and keep ourselves informed from official and reliable sources, as well as communications from federal and state government agencies and international health organizations.

Best regards,

Fernando Dominguez
