FDR DANCE THEATER
Founded in 2010 in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, with its headquarters in San Luis Potosí, Mexico, FDR Dance Theater is a project-based company dedicated to advancing contemporary dance. Under the artistic direction of Fernando Domínguez Rincón, the company presents original works alongside collaborations with distinguished international choreographers, including works from Jason Mabana, Quentin Dehaye, among others.
The company’s repertoire, consisting of approximately 25 short and full-length pieces, spans a diverse range of stage performances, dance films, and experimental choreography. These creations often explore the intersection of dance with visual arts and technology, pushing the boundaries of movement and artistic expression.
In addition to its own productions, FDR Dance Theater has partnered in co-productions with leading dance companies, universities, and production houses, including CODARTS Dance, Ceprodac, Rambert School, Contempodanza, and Ballet Provincial de San Luis, among others.
Our Mission
At FDR Dance, our mission is to explore dance as a universal language that transcends borders of nationality, religion, and culture. We seek to express the essence of human nature through movement, guided by our belief that "Movement is the language of existence." We foster an environment where individuality and collaboration coexist harmoniously, enabling artists to bring their unique perspectives and experiences to collective creation, ensuring every element contributes to the artistic process.
